Be slow in your judgements and reactions

Recently, I accidentally repasted a post as a comment on another's Facebook page that did not even remotely pertain to the post   A very obvious accident on my behalf,  but unfortunately regarded as purposeful and intrusive.  I agreed withe person that the comment was entirely unrelated to their post, and that should have been obvious.
Why bring this up now?  We can learn a good lesson or two from this  obvious mishap.
First, slow down when on Facebook.  Accident or not, the comment goes out "there".
Secondly, let us not be too quick to jump on someone who may not have meant what they said, or accidentally acted in some way.
Thirdly, let us be quick to understand before we react.  A response is always better than a reaction.
