ISIS is Xtremely evil, and they are an example of the horrible potential of the human being left to his or her own schemes.
As human beings unconvinced of God's truth, we justify abortion, justify sexual immorality, and the worst action that we justify, the worst in the history of man, in all of history, far greater than Hitler, ISIS, or any other abomination?
What is this action? We reject God!
God has revealed Himself through His creation, and human beings were made in His image, in order to reflect His glory. Instead, we aim for our own glory.
Of course, in order to make much of ourselves...
We reject the reality of the existence of God, saying "Their is no God".
We reject His word of truth. "We suppress the truth of God for a lie".
We do not fear God "For there is no fear of God before their eyes".
We mock God's designs and commands.
We reject His plan of salvation. Jesus said "I have come that they may have life!" And yet their is no name in history that is mocked or cursed more than Christ.
We think that we can save ourselves from the very evil that lies within us.
"The heart is deceitful above all things, and beyond cure. Who can understand it?"
Evil can never be stopped by evil man. We just come up with other ways of doing evil.
Only God can stop evil.
God is indeed omniscient (all knowing), omnipresent(all present),
and omnipotent (all powerful). He knows exactly what can stop ISIS.
He is very present to stop ISIS. The most important matter to understand is this:
God has all power to stop ISIS with one little word, and He will...when He is ready.
But what about us? Are we ready to "Seek the Lord while may be found?"
Are we ready to "Call upon Him while He is near."
Are we ready to confess our helpless estate, and call upon Christ for forgiveness and new life before it is too late?
"Today is the day of Salvation.".
In Christ alone is fullness of joy that is not temporary, but everlasting!
Call upon Christ while you are alive. It will surely be too late when you are dead.
