Trust God!

Trust God, not yourself!  You've failed yourself before.  God will never let down those who trust in Him.

My faith is in You alone, O Lord God Almighty.  I do not trust myself, but You Who are perfect, and true to Your promises.

Speaking of Abraham, the Bible says in Romans 4:20
"20 No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, 21 fully convinced that uGod was able to do what he had promised. 22 That is why his faith was “counted to him as righteousness.” 

Abraham grew in his faith because he was God focused, not self focused. 
 He saw God as big, not himself. 
 He saw God as able to carry out His promises, not his own ability to bring about a plan.  

God counted Abraham's faith as righteousness, not Abraham's self reliance or his own good works.
