As presidential candidates are campaigning, and voicing their positions on all the hot topics, one needs to be readdressed.
WHEN IS ABORTION OKAY?
Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, support a woman 's right to choose if, and when she wants to end the unborn child 's life, period.
Trump, and Kasich believe in the right to end the unborn child 's life if rape or incest was involved
Carson, Cruz, and Rubio oppose ending the child's life under circumstances of rape or incest.
This is philosophically, logically, and ethically the most consistent position if you believe rhat abortion is murder. Ending an unborn child's life because their father is a rapist, or because their mother is a victim of rape or incest is not okay. Can we justify the murder of the innocent because of a horrible sin and crime that brought them into the world?
Either you are pro life, or muddled in your thinking. You are allowing for a justification of murder in many other situations where depraved human beings will justify murder. Think about it. Children born with a deformity, the elderly who are unable to care for themselves, or how about children whose parent was a deranged criminal, and you have his genes? This is not far fetched, and the topic of Euthanasia is widely discussed in universities across our nation and the world today.
As a Christian, I know that God makes beautiful lives out of messed up lives.
God is the Author of life, and loves the unborn, including the unborn child through rape and incest.
They all belong to Him, not to the mother or father. God is the Creator here, and even though man and evil sin are involved, and a crime occurs in the process, God, not man ordained that this life be created. We have no right to end it.
Psalm 139:16
"Your eyes saw my unformed substance, and in Your book all the days [of my life] were written before ever they took shape, when as yet there was none of them."
